Create a Password Link
This page explains every field on the password creation screen so you can prepare a secure link for a recipient.
Password
Type or generate the password that you want to share. The visibility icon lets you switch between hidden and visible text while you review it.
Generate password
Use the generate button if you want Encrypt8 to create a password for you. You can still edit the result before creating the link.
Validity period
Choose how long the retrieval link should stay active. Shorter expiration times reduce risk if the link is shared beyond the intended recipient.
Click limit
Set how many times the link can be opened. You can also leave it unlimited, but a lower click limit gives you more control over access.
Recipient and sender details
Add the recipient name and sender name to personalize the retrieval page. The optional message field is useful for short instructions or context.
Create the link
After you are satisfied with the settings, choose Create Link. The app will show the retrieval URL that you can copy and send to the recipient.
