Getting Started with Encrypt8
Encrypt8 is designed for sending a password to someone else without exposing it in plain text email or chat. The basic workflow is simple: create the link, share it, and let the recipient retrieve the password once.
1. Open the app
The main page opens the password creation form. If the app is localized for your browser language, the interface will follow that setting.
2. Generate a password
Use the password field and the generate button to create a strong password. You can also type your own password if you prefer.
3. Set sharing limits
Choose how long the link should remain valid and how many times it can be opened. These limits help control access after you share it.
4. Add recipient details
Optionally add the recipient name, sender name, and a short message so the retrieval page is easier to recognize.
5. Create and copy the link
When you create the link, Encrypt8 shows the shareable retrieval URL. Copy it and send it through your preferred channel.
